This page covers the go-to cue: a line that sends the playout somewhere else in the same list. Use it to restart a block that has to loop, to skip a section that is not needed today, or to park the list at a point you will come back to.
Adding one
The arrow beside the Hold button in the toolbar → Go to. A line appears where the insertion point is.
Open it (double-click, or right-click → Properties) and set:

The two ways it behaves
Normal. GO on the go-to cue jumps to the target and plays it. The show continues from there. Use it to loop a block back to its start, or to leap over a section.
Only cue up. GO on the go-to cue moves the green marker to the target and nothing else happens: no picture change, no audio. The following GO plays the target.
The second is the safe one during a live show. It lets you reposition the list while something else is on screen — a still, a hold, a speaker on another playout — without anything appearing.
It is not a step
A go-to cue has no number and it does not shift the numbering of the lines around it. It is a reference, not something that takes a turn in the running order.
Why moving things does not break it
The jump points at the target cue, not at its number or its position. Move the target, renumber the list, drag a whole block somewhere else — the jump still lands on the same line.
If the target is deleted, the go-to cue says so: the column shows what it used to point at, and opening it reports that the cue is no longer in this list. It does not silently jump somewhere else.
A word of caution
A go-to cue that points backwards makes a loop that never ends by itself. That is exactly what you want for a waiting loop before the start, and exactly what you do not want in the body of a show — leave a hold or a pause somewhere in the circle so that the operator gets the list back.
