Open Source License & Distribution The underlying OBS Studio engine is open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 (GPLv2). What you download through this service is an independently compiled, customized software package maintained entirely by our team. The OBS Project bears no responsibility for the functionality, code integrity, or performance of this build.

Support Policy & Community Guidelines The OBS Project team does not provide technical support, troubleshooting, or assistance for Ultimate Playout or any custom derivative builds.

Do NOT submit support requests regarding Ultimate Playout to official OBS Studio platforms (including the official OBS forums, Discord server, Reddit community, or GitHub issue trackers). Official OBS support teams cannot and will not assist with third-party software distributions.
Official Support Location: All questions, bug reports, documentation, and feature requests must be directed exclusively to the dedicated support forum on this website.

End User License Agreement & Disclaimer

Please read these terms carefully before downloading or installing the software.

1. Software Delivery & Scope Ultimate Playout is a standalone playout software application built upon the OBS Studio engine. During installation, the installer downloads and installs a pinned, compatible version of OBS Studio into an isolated directory dedicated to Ultimate Playout. Any pre-existing installations of OBS Studio on your computer will remain completely untouched and separate.

2. Independent Entity & OBS Project Disclaimer Ultimate Playout is an independent software product. It is not affiliated with, maintained, published, endorsed, or sponsored by the OBS Project or its developers. OBS Studio is open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 (GPLv2). Technical support for this modified build and software package is provided exclusively through this platform and is not supported by the official OBS Project team.

3. Account-Bound Access & Distribution Restrictions Access to Ultimate Playout, including software downloads and installer files, is strictly bound to your personal registered account and assigned group authorization. Downloads and proprietary modules are strictly non-transferable. Publicly or privately redistributing, sharing, re-uploading, or transferring the software or installer files outside your designated account or authorized organization is strictly prohibited.

4. Embedded Identifiers & System Telemetry To maintain security, verify group access, and prevent unauthorized redistribution, downloaded executables contain an embedded, non-visible account identifier code. Upon successful installation, the software reports verification data back to our servers, including:

The embedded build/account identification code
An anonymized, non-reversible hardware identifier code (hash)
The computer hostname (system name)
The installed software version and active module configuration

No personal files or unassociated system activities are monitored or transmitted.

5. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability This software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory (including but not limited to performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement).

Any use of Ultimate Playout in live broadcasting, production, or commercial operations is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for thoroughly testing any new software version or update in a non-production test environment prior to deploying it in live operations. The developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this software.
