Several Bugs Found

Well… these have appeared when using the program in real environments, some are small but still worth mentioning.

1. The video disappears when minimized
When the program is minimized, the video goes black and the audio stops playing, leaving only the cue logo.

2. The previous cue logo remains for a short time in the next one
Soo… to run the channel, two logos are used, one transparent and one colored. When the channel goes to a bumper separating segments, it is programmed for the logo to disappear (intentionally), but when the transparent logo appears in the commercial after that bumper, the colored logo comes back for half or up to 2 seconds before the corresponding logo (the transparent one) appears.

About the installations, well, a friend had problems with logging into the page (specifically because the verification emails weren’t coming through, even when she checked the spam folder), so I sent her the installer that comes I already downloaded

Also, cannot rename logos
Even if I right-click on them, I cannot rename the,. It sounds stupid, but avoids confusing several states lol

Thanks — these are exactly the kind of reports that help!

1. Previous logo showing briefly

Fixed. When a bumper cleared the logo, the layer was hidden immediately. Due to hardware acceleration, the browser kept the last drawn frame in memory (the colored logo), briefly displaying it again before loading the new one. The logo now fades out cleanly before the layer hides. We reproduced your exact sequence (logo → bumper without logo → different logo) and verified that the old logo no longer flashes.

2. Renaming logos

Added. In the logo designer (Settings → Modules → Logo → Design…), there is now a dedicated Rename button, and creating a New logo will prompt for a name right away. Any cues referencing that logo will update automatically.

3. Video disappearing when minimized

We haven’t been able to reproduce this on our end yet — playback and audio continue normally when minimized during testing. A few quick questions to help us narrow it down:

Does this happen with local video files, or specifically with web sources / YouTube?

Does it occur immediately every time you minimize, or only after the app has been running for a while?

(Note: The upcoming update disables browser hardware acceleration by default, which resolved similar rendering glitches for others. Let us know if the issue persists after updating.)

4. Verification email & friend’s installation

We’re looking into why the verification emails aren’t arriving. Keep in mind that installers downloaded directly from your account dashboard are tied to your license, so her client is currently running under your profile. Once her account is verified, she should reinstall using her own installer.

We will release version 1.1.7 later this week. The fixes are in that release.
