Live production requires speed and focus. When you are on air, you shouldn’t have to hunt through hidden dropdowns or secondary menus to find the right setting. With our latest update, we’ve redesigned the entire interface from the ground up to give every tool one clear, predictable place—alongside some major new features for presentations and cue management.
One Menu Bar, One Consistent Look
The first thing you will notice is the new top menu bar (File, Edit, View, Design, Modules, Settings, Help). Commands that used to live behind gear icons, small button arrows, and preview right-click menus are now logically organized in one place.
The bar above the cue list is now dedicated exclusively to adding cues, keeping your main workspace clean. We have also unified the design across all windows: whether you are importing a list, configuring a module, or adjusting graphics in the designer, every screen now uses the same clear layout and visual cards.
Native PowerPoint Playback (No Office Required)
Version 2.0.0 of the PowerPoint module is a major leap forward. Presentations now run natively inside the program—meaning Microsoft PowerPoint no longer needs to be installed on your playout machine.
- Full fidelity: Animations, transitions, and embedded videos play smoothly right out of the box.
- Slide-by-slide control: Each slide acts as a cue, and individual click animations become steps within that cue.
- Built-in editor: Right-click any slide and open Properties… to edit text, reorder slides, or tweak animations and transitions on the fly.
Smarter File & Cue List Management
Managing your rundowns is now much faster and behaves just like the desktop software you use every day:
- Direct Saving (Ctrl+S): Lists now remember their source file. An asterisk (*) next to the list name shows unsaved changes, and pressing Ctrl+S saves immediately.
- Cut, Copy & Paste (Ctrl+X / C / V): Easily duplicate or move cues with all their settings intact—even across different playouts.
- In-List Search (Ctrl+F): Quickly jump to any cue by title without affecting your active green line or NEXT position.
- Clearer Timing: The status bar now shows a clean countdown (Remaining 12:30 · End 21:45), adding a simple + symbol whenever manual GO cues are part of the list.
More Control Over Previews, Overlays & Designs
- Resizable Previews: Grab the bottom-right corner of any next-cue, secondary playout, or overlay preview to scale it anywhere from 30% to 100%—or double-click the grip to snap back to 50%.
- Independent Overlay Routing: You can now choose exactly which playouts feed into an overlay output. Ticked playouts send their lower thirds, subtitles, and logos to the dedicated overlay output, while unticked playouts keep their graphics in their own picture.
- Centralized Design & Custom SVG Backgrounds: All graphic templates (song pages, name plates, subtitles, logos, and backgrounds) now live directly in the Design menu. In the background designer, you can now define custom shape counts, set individual motion paths, and import your own SVG drawings.
